Palak Paneer Paratha

Palak Paneer Paratha




Ingredients( makes 8 medium parathas) :
Spinach washed thoroughly, dried and chopped 1 bunch
Paneer 150 gms
Amchur powder/ chaat masala 1 tsp
Garam masala 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Butter or desi ghee as much you wanted
Salt as per taste

Method:
In pan, add oil.
Add jeera and ginger garlic paste.
Roast it for some time.
Add spinach leaves and cook till leaves are wilted..
Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder..
Mix and cook for few minutes.
Add garam masala, chaat/amchur masala..
Mix well and cook till moisture from palak is gone( crucial step if you dont want holes in your paratha while rolling it)..
When palak becomes little dry in consistency, add paneer.
Adjust seasonings.
Take it out on plate and spread it to cool down..
Let this cool down completely..
Once cooled, make parathas. If you dont know how to stuff parathas then move over to pics to know how..
Add dallop of butter on these steaming hot parathas and serve it with pickle, dahi, tomato ketchup.. Nothing like it in this rains..
